Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to come online to update you on something really important to me.
I am training to be able to walk again after almost 3 years!
History:
3 years ago next February I had a quit severe surgery on my right hip.
Because of my handicap the recovery is harder than for someone who has healthy legs.
And because there were a lot of therapists who did not know how to push me or did not know what exercises to give me, it took me a long time to come to where I am wright now.
My mom actually gave me the name of the gym I am working out in now. The man that is helping me work on my recovery is a very enthusiastic man. He knows a lot about handicaps and being paralyzed. He gives me new exercises and challenges every week and I am making progress already.
(I have been with him in that gym for 2 months now).
My goals for the upcoming year when it comes to walking are:
being able to move on my crutches by my self. meaning: from my house to my car and inside my and my parents houses.
I will keep you updated!
I hope you like this quick story and see you next time!
